Squash racquets are about 70 cm extended, with a maximum strung place of 500 square centimetres (roughly 80 square inches) and weigh between 110 and 200 grams (4-7 ounces).
Tennis racquets differ in length, weight, and head size. 21″ to 26″ is normally a junior’s length, although 27″ or 27.5″ are for stronger and taller adult players. Weights of a racquet also vary in between 9 ounces unstrung and 12.5 ounces unstrung. Head size also plays a role in a racquet’s qualities. A bigger head size typically implies far more power, and a larger “sweet spot” that is more forgiving on off-center hits. A smaller head size gives far more precise manage. Head sizes of current racquets differ in between 85 sq. inches and 137 sq. inches.

Squash Racket?
Hello Everyone,
I'm planning to take up squash, any advice on what to look for in a good decent squash racket would be appreciated - e.g. brands, materials, technical info. etc.....also advice ot the type of balls as well. Many thanks.
buy a racquet with a weight around 145 - 160 grams
the heavier the racquet the less likely you are to break it - the light ones break very easily - be prepared to spend around £40-50 for something that is half decent - Wilson racquets are good
