Buy the best fitting boots you can find. A pair of 155 to 160 cm all mountain skis with bindings in good to excellent condition can usually be found on the used market for $ 200 to $ 400. Try C list, and Ebay, also try some of the ski sales that are held in the fall. This spring you may find some sales from instructors who are retiring a pair from last season so they can buy a good pair next fall.

i have found as good price online for skis but although they will fit bindings for me they say i have to adjust myself is this something i can do at home or if i take to a shop will they charge me loads to do it? would someone like ellis bingham do it? Ski bindings neeed to be adjusted to a specific persons ability as a skier, its a very simple adjustment, which allows the boots to detach easily if you are a novice. I you go to a shop it should'nt reallty cost more than a couple of pounds to have them
