This is a vintage and somewhat rare cycling jersey from the LA Sheriffs’ Cycling Team. I’ve owned it for many years, but haven’t worn it in quite some time, so I am listing it here in order to pass it along to someone else who might like to have it. A former co-worker of mine used to ride for the Sheriffs’ Team many years ago, but I actually had bought this jersey before he made the team. The jersey is made by Aussie. It’s a size large (See below for actual measurements). It is in excellent used condition, and has no holes, rips, stains or snags. On the back left side there are a few tiny, barely visible black marks. They were there when I bought the jersey, and I believe they were made when the jersey was manufactured. I took a photo of the marks, but they may be hard to see in the picture. This jersey was always washed in cold water and air-dried after each use. Besides the Sheriffs’ Team logos, sponsor names on the jersey include Litespeed, Giro, Los Angeles Kings hockey team, Vittoria, Zipp Speed Weaponry, Law Enforcement Cycling Association, Sachs, S.A.N.E. and Chevrolet. The actual measurements of the jersey are: 20 1/2 inches across the chest measured just below the sleeves with the jersey laid flat, 30 inches long down the back from the top of the collar to the bottom edge, and the zipper is a full-length one (which is especially nice if you live in a hot climate and/or put out a lot of body heat under hard efforts). The jersey has the standard three pockets on the lower back side. I will also be listing another vintage LA Sheriff Team jersey that belonged to my wife, as she no longer uses hers, either.
